I am a freelance illustrator and graphic designer with 10 years experience in the print and publishing industry. I've worked on a wide range of children’s books and publications with small businesses and independent authors helping them bring their stories to life.
I'm an active member of (SCBWI) the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and a US ARMY veteran.
I spend my days drawing on my ipad with a cup of cold coffee by my side and a cat on my lap. Creating fun and quirky characters for picture books and middle grade.

I am an Author and Illustrator of children's books. I earned my bachelor's of Fine Arts from the Ringling College of Art and Design with a major in Illustration, graduating with honors in 2003.
Debut picture book: Winter 2023 (Feiwel & Friends).

I am a member of the SCBWI. And have the honor of being the winner of the Regional Conference logo competition for two consecutive years (MD/DE/WV 2019 & 2020).
Besides creating my own content, I also teach illustration, both in traditional and digital techniques and offer mentorships and portfolio reviews.
I am bilingual and enjoy the mixture of my Cuban and Ecuadorian cultural roots. I grew up in Ecuador, a beautifully diverse country that is close to my heart.
